When is check in and check out?
Check in begins at 4pm. If you arrive in Jackson earlier, we will be happy to hold onto your luggage while you explore the town. Check out is at 11am. Please return key card to desk and leave linens and towels on your bed.

Is there an age requirement?
Guests must be 18 years of age and up!

Is there Air Conditioning? 

Yes! The Cache House has a newly installed air conditioning in preparation for the summer days ahead!

Where can I store my things?
Each bunk is assigned a lockable large pull-out drawer and a hallway locker (with enough room for your backpacking pack, roller carry-on suitcase and more!). If you brought ski equipment, we have plenty of space in our secure storage room behind the desk.

Is the hostel safe?
Staff on property are available 24 hours.
We take the safety of our guests and their belongings seriously. We will handle theft and illegal behaviors by calling the police and removing the offender from our property, without refund. If you see anything alarming, please alert our staff immediately.

What’s included in my stay?
Each bed has an outlet, privacy curtain, and reading light with everything you’ll need for a comfortable and cozy stay.  Amenities include high-quality bedding and linens, warm blankets, as well as complimentary coffee and tea each morning. Bathroom amenities include CO Bigelow shampoo, conditioner and soap. Your sheets, pillow, and blanket are on a pre-made bed, and towels are in your pull-out drawer.

Are there kitchen and laundry facilities?
We are located right by some of Jackson Hole’s favorite restaurants, cafes, and bars. We don’t offer an on-site kitchen, but want you to enjoy the best our little mountain town has to offer.
We do not have laundry facilities on site, but are happy to point you in the right direction to the local laundromats (Jackson Laundormat and the Missing Sock) or send out your laundry to a cleaner.

Where do I park?

Onsite parking is not available to Cache House guests. Options are available offsite and include the Public Streets (for up to 3 hours at a time year round) and a Public Parking Garage located at the intersection of Millward Street and Simpson Avenue (for up to 48 hours at a time) that are both free and subject to availability. For the latest information on offsite parking options please visit the Town of Jackson’s Public Parking website or contact Cache House directly. We encourage biking, walking, public transportation or ride shares for getting around.

How long can I stay?
14 days is the maximum length of stay – requests for longer stays will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

House Rules

No food or drink in bedrooms. There are plenty of public spaces for eating and drinking. Out of respect for your fellow travelers, and to keep the place clean, please don’t eat or drink in your room/bed. Please store any beverages or food in your hallway locker.

No curfew with 24-hr access keycard.

Quiet Hours are between 10pm and 7am in rooms and communal spaces. We want you to enjoy yourself, but please be respectful of other guests’ experiences. Please use headphones while in the bedrooms.

Due to the communal space, no pets are allowed

No smoking allowed. Evidence of smoking inside will result in a cleaning charge.

No non-registered guests in bedrooms. We offer lots of public space for meeting up with old friends & connecting to new ones, but don’t bring any guests into bedroom areas. Visitors can register with the front desk. We permit 1 guest max per twin or full bed and 2 guests max per queen bed – every overnight guest must be registered and paid.

The Cache House may lawfully refuse to entertain objectionable characters calculated to injure the business or guests in a hazardous, uncomfortable or dangerous situation. In the event that a guest does not comply with Cache House Rules, the management team has the right to refuse services and remove the guest from the premises, and the guest will be subject to forfeiting part or the full amount of their stay.

Policies

Guarantee/Deposit

All Reservations must be Guaranteed to a valid Credit Card at time of Booking. Furthermore, all reservations require a deposit equal to the value of the first night’s Room and Tax charges, at time of booking. Full payment is due 14 days prior to arrival and will be billed to the credit card on file. A valid driver’s license or passport must be present upon check in. Cash is accepted, but a credit card must be presented and held on file in the event of any incidentals. A $50 incidental hold will be placed on the card at the time of check in and will be removed from the card at check out. The hostel reserves the right to refuse any patron at any time for any reason. No refunds are issued for shortening stays, and if a guest is asked to leave the property, the remainder of their reservation will not be refunded.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made by 4pm Local Time, at least 14 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date. Any cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a Late Cancellation fee equal to the full value of the stay. Any cancellations made outside of the 14 days will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

Damage to or Loss of Property

Guests are responsible for damage or loss they cause to the property. If additional cleaning is necessary or hostel items are not found, charges to cover the cost may be incurred. All damaged property will be assessed and charged to parties responsible. Cache House does not assume responsibility for any guest’s belongings before, during, and after your stay.

We’re All In This Together

The Cache House is a safe and comfortable space for travelers. Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with the Cache House’s policies and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the hostel, as well as its employees and guests for their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Cache House or cause offense to other guests or members of our staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation and/or services or when necessary remove guests from the Cache House if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, the Cache House has no obligation to issue refunds for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
